Vintage circa 1945, this hand-built solid Elm console carries the kind of worn surface that only comes with real age. The top is thick and slightly overhanging, its grain faded to warm brown with rubbed edges and darkened seams that read beautifully against the deeper, almost charcoal-toned base. Straight legs, a single centered drawer, and a darkened metal pull keep the form lean and unfussy.
